VENDOR PRIVACY POLICY

This Vendor Privacy Policy explains how FLOSIK (“we”, “us”, “our”, or “the Platform”) collects, uses, stores, and protects personal and business information of vendors who register and operate on our marketplace.

By registering as a vendor on FLOSIK, you agree to the terms outlined in this Policy.


1. INFORMATION WE COLLECT

We may collect and process the following vendor information:

1.1 Personal & Business Information
  • Full name
  • Business name and registration details (where applicable)
  • National ID or company registration number (if required)
  • Contact details (email address, phone number, physical address)
1.2 Account & Store Information
  • Store name, logo, and descriptions
  • Product listings and pricing
  • Order history and performance data
  • Communication between vendors and customers
1.3 Payment & Financial Information
  • Payment payout details (bank or mobile money details)
  • Transaction records and commissions
  • Tax-related information where required by law
1.4 Technical Information
  • IP address
  • Device and browser information
  • Login activity and timestamps

2. HOW WE USE VENDOR INFORMATION

We use vendor data to:

  • Create and manage vendor accounts
  • Enable product listing, order processing, and payouts
  • Communicate important platform updates
  • Improve platform performance and user experience
  • Detect fraud, abuse, or policy violations
  • Comply with legal and regulatory obligations in Zimbabwe

3. LEGAL BASIS FOR PROCESSING

Vendor data is processed based on:

  • Performance of a contract (providing marketplace services)
  • Legal obligations
  • Legitimate business interests
  • Vendor consent where applicable

4. DATA SHARING & DISCLOSURE

We may share vendor information with:

  • Customers (limited to store and order-related information)
  • Payment processors and financial institutions
  • Logistics and delivery partners
  • Legal or regulatory authorities when required by Zimbabwean law

We do not sell vendor personal data to third parties.


5. DATA STORAGE & SECURITY
  • Vendor data is stored on secure servers with appropriate safeguards.
  • We implement technical and organizational measures to prevent unauthorized access, loss, or misuse.
  • Vendors are responsible for safeguarding their login credentials.

6. DATA RETENTION

Vendor information is retained:

  • For as long as the vendor account remains active
  • As required to comply with legal, accounting, or regulatory obligations
  • After account closure, only where legally necessary

7. VENDOR RIGHTS

Vendors have the right to:

  • Access their personal and business information
  • Request correction of inaccurate data
  • Request account deletion (subject to legal requirements)
  • Object to or restrict certain data processing activities

8. COOKIES & TRACKING

FLOSIK may use cookies and similar technologies to:

  • Maintain vendor sessions
  • Improve dashboard functionality
  • Monitor platform usage for security and analytics

Vendors can manage cookie settings through their browser.


9. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES

The Platform may integrate third-party tools such as:

  • Payment gateways
  • Analytics services
  • Messaging or notification systems

These third parties are governed by their own privacy policies.


10. INTERNATIONAL DATA TRANSFERS

Where data is processed outside Zimbabwe, we ensure appropriate safeguards are in place to protect vendor information.


11. CHANGES TO THIS POLICY

We may update this Vendor Privacy Policy from time to time. Vendors will be notified of significant changes through the Platform or via email.

Continued use of FLOSIK after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy.
